Home Posted 10/11/2005 8:13:14 PM by Jaclyn I am so excited to see a website devoted entirely to this beautiful historic town. My mother grew up in Eufaula, and my grandmother still lives there. Growing up in a military family meant moving often, but no matter where we were stationed Eufaula was home. Wherever God may take me in life, this special town will always have a place in my heart. Where was the Eaves Plantation. Posted 11/11/2005 5:54:47 PM by Marshall Looking for information on the city where my Great-Great-Grandfather was born. I grew up in a tiny New England town and I fell in love with one of your pictures, it's so weird, it calls to me like I've been there before. I would be willing to drive the hour to the base every morning for the security and comfort of a small town. I might even buy a house there depending on the circumstances. we have info on eufaula Posted 1/19/2006 10:39:31 AM by chamber of commerce If you need more information on anything related to Eufaula including relocation, visiting, etc. please visit www.eufaulachamber.com or call 1.800.524.7529. It is one of the few towns left with a town square..it is a rare treasure and will always be home. the pictures here do not do the justice eufaula deserves..and it's only as boring as you want it to be. never put down something you do not know about or that someone else loves. It is a true southern treasure. !! Love this place Posted 3/18/2006 2:21:38 AM by Karen I found about Eufaula when we had a family reunion their and I have realatives there. (Bowman). Posted 3/27/2006 12:14:15 AM by Lance I love historic architecture and always take the opportunity to explore historic districts when visiting different cities and towns. About 2 years ago, I drove into Eufaula and my jaw nearly dropped at seeing the abundance of beautiful homes and gardens. Not only are the buildings impressive but the 45,000 acres of lake that surround the town is impressive........I just kept saying WOW!.......I knew then that I wanted to some day live there.........Well, I'm excited to say, that I have contracted to buy an 1865 Italianate home there. I will begin renovating in about a month. I can't wait! THE TRUTH Posted 11/11/2006 8:00:15 PM by Jake Gunter I had lived in Eufaula for 13 years im only 15 now but i do have to say those years of my life was the absolute best. My mom met a man from tacoma washington and got married to him so we picked up our stuff and left but I have to say I left a few things down there like my heart all of my friends and family well really the only thing valuable that I took up here was the memories that I will never leave behind me I still keep in touch with all of my friends after the 2 years that ive been up here I know that two years doesnt seem to be a long time but it seems to be I have been away for billions of years. If you live in Eufaula Alabama for any time at all you will know what im talking about for anybody that wants to move there it will be the best move in your life but like i said the felling you get from the small town people is unexplainable!!!!!!!!
